ATLANTA, Ga. (February 18, 2020) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week. For women, Takyra Gilbert (Central State) was named Player of the Week, while Taziha Fanning (Fort Valley State) earned Newcomer of the Week. For men, Romaine Thomas (Clark Atlanta) was named Player of the Week, while Tyler Henry (Lane) earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
