COLUMBIA, S.C. - The 24th-ranked Benedict College Lady Tigers pulled away from a tie game at halftime by holding Tampa to nine points in the third period and went on to take a 73-61 victory over the Spartans on Saturday afternoon in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
