ATLANTA (January 31, 2017) – For the second consecutive week, Benedict swept the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Women’s Basketball Weekly honors with Destiny Betts being named Player of the Week along with teammate Shanaissa White who earned the Newcomer of the Week honor, announced on Tuesday by the conference office.
